Classification of disperse dyes (according to dyeing temperature)

Publish Time: 2023-01-30     Origin: Site

Disperse dyes can be divided into three categories according to their heat resistance in application:

1. Low temperature type (E type)

Low fastness to sublimation, good leveling performance

Such as red-60#, blue-56#, yellow-54#, orange-25#, etc., because the molecular weight of these dyes is relatively small, generally below 300, it is easier to be diffused by the diffusing agent.

2. High temperature type (S type)

High fastness to sublimation, poor level dyeing

Such as blue-60#, blue-73#, red-167#, red-179#, yellow-114#, yellow-79#, etc., because the molecular weight is above 400, macromolecular dyes are not easy to be diffused by the diffusing agent, Therefore, during the dyeing process, the heating speed should be slow, the holding time should be long, and the cooling speed should be controlled to reduce the chance of color change. In the process of printing and beating, we should also pay attention to the 50 ℃ warm water chemical, and beat it for a few more minutes. If possible, we can filter it with a filter to reduce the color spots of printing.

3. Medium temperature type (SE type)

Characteristics between high temperature and low temperature types
