"Leica" is the transliteration of English words lycra. As a kind of spandex elastic fiber, an embedded molecular chain segment polymethyl ester consisting of flexible chain segments and rigid chain segments. It was successfully studied by Bayer in Germany in 1937. It was produced in 1959 DuPont. Because it has many advantages and good quality, it is recognized by the peers, so as long as the clothing of Lycra will be used to hang a triangular tag, this tag also becomes a high -quality symbol.

Although Lycra fiber is a synthetic elastic fiber, it is also called spandex in the United States, and spandex and elastic fibers are the common name of the same substance, but only Lycra produces a real Lycra® fiber.

So, what is the difference between spandex and Rica?

02 The difference between spandex and Lyca

1) Leica is a kind of spandex, but the spandex is not necessarily Lycra

Leica has better performance than general aminoly, and has a special chemical structure. It will not grow mold in the space where wet water is wet and humid.

2) Solida is a polymer compound elastic fiber

The spandex, also known as polyurethane fiber, has the advantages that other fibers cannot compare, such as: light gravity, high breakthrough strength, high breaks and extension, good elastic recovery, etc.

3) Lycra's extension can reach 500%, and it can be replied to the original

Lyca's extension is far better than traditional elastic fibers. It can be stretched very easily. After replying, it can still be close to the surface of the human skin, and the restraint for the human body is very small.

03 The characteristics of Laika fiber

1) The fiber fineness range is wide

Lyca's fibrous fineness range is 22 ~ 4778 DTEX, and the thinnest rubber wire is 156 DTEX. Because Rica is more uniform than other elastic fibers during the weaving process, the fabric containing Laika has a good flatness and soft feel.

2) higher strength and elongation

Lyca's strength is 2 to 4 times that of rubber wires. Because Lycra has a greater elasticity than rubber wires under the same extension, the fabric containing Laica has a higher tightness.

3) High temperature resistance

Elastic fabrics are generally mixed with a small amount of elastic fiber with other fibers. The thermal definition and dyeing of conventional synthetic fibers must be treated with high temperature heat, so the flexible fiber must also be affected by high temperature heat treatment. Lycarten's heating temperature can reach 195 ° C, while the highest thermal fiber temperature of other brands of elastic fibers is 180 ~ 185 ° C. Therefore, under the same high temperature conditions, the stretching rate and reflection of Laika fabrics are more advantageous than other elastic fabrics.

4) Low washing rate and growth rate

The washing rate and growth rate of fabrics are the main factor that affects the size stability and anti -wrinkleability of the garment, and it is also an important indicator of the deformation of the fabric and garment. Washing rate and growth rate are low, which indicates that the clothing has good sheets, and the fabric is not easy to deform and wrinkle.

5) Good stretching and rejuvenation

Proper response and maintenance gives the elastic fabric comfort, morphological maintenance, appropriateness, and formability. Lycra can extend to the length of 7 times longer than the original length; the retractability is also very good. When the extension is extended by 50%, the recovery rate is greater than 99%; when the extension is 200%, the recovery rate is 97%; even if the extension is extended; even if the extension is extended; When it is 500%long, its shrinkage rate is more than 90%. The size of the retraction rate is related to the thickness of the yarn. The thicker the yarn, the greater the rebound force.

6) Dyeing

Lyca can dye dyes such as acidic, metal complexation, activity and decentralization, and rubber wire is not easy to dye.

7) Anti -aging and not easy to yellow

Synthetic fabrics or processing clothing containing spandex shredders will be yellowed in repeated use or washing over time, and the elastic rough containing Laica is placed for three months. It is 10%to 20%better than ordinary products, and it has better anti -aging.

8) Good abrasion resistance

The extension range is 50%to 300%, and 200 fatigue tests are performed per minute. It can resist more than 1 million times and continuously cracks, while rubber is only 240,000 times.

9) Good optical resistance and chlorine resistance

Rica took 40 h in the exposure tolerance tester, and reduced its strength by about 20%. The rubber wire is also shot, resulting in aging and loss of strength.

Leica has a certain resistance to general chemicals, but it is relatively sensitive to chlorine (such as NACLO bleach), causing fibrous yellow damage to lose elasticity and extension. This is one of its main disadvantages. The bleach containing oxygen is relatively stable.
