China's textile and apparel exports resume growth in September

In September, textile and apparel exports stopped falling for four consecutive months and resumed growth; exports in the month increased by 2.66% year-on-year and 18.81% year-on-year, of which textile exports increased by 27.08% year-on-year, and clothing exports increased year-on-year 13.34%.

From January to September 2021, China's textile and apparel exports totaled US$227.594 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.61% and an increase of 12.7% over 2019. Among them, textile exports increased by 17.97% over 2019, and clothing exports increased by 8.53% over 2019.
